Davenport child allegedly killed at mother’s hands | Highlands News-Sun

While most mothers are celebrated this month for loving, teaching, comforting and protecting their children, Patricia Boyer Saintizaire, 36, of Davenport will instead spend Mother’s Day behind bars.

Saintizaire is charged with the horrific May 2 blunt force murder of her four-year-old adopted son, Bryan Boyer. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd held a news conference Wednesday. In the social media post, Judd explained that the little boy was born in Haiti to a woman who didn’t want him. Baby Boyer was adopted in Haiti by a woman who had a sister (Patricia Saintizaire) in the United States. According to the arrest report, Bryan was noncommunicative and was taking ESE classes.
