John Wall: “Getting traded to Houston was devastating. It hurt. I was probably in Houston and it was COVID at the time. So I was sitting in my apartment the whole time like, damn, I’m not really in D.C. anymore. I was packing to go to training camp. The next day was training camp, and I got a call at 7:30. I got a text, please call, in all caps. I said, damn, I’m traded. You get a text, please call, in all caps, and then you hit the ticker, you’ve been traded. So my team’s with me, a few of my guys with me, and my sister’s with me. I was like, damn, this really happened.”
