Two Maryland police departments support the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee

The Carroll and Prince George’s counties police departments are assisting with the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, sources told 11 News Investigates. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office sent 15 people to the RNC, according to Corporal Jon Light. The Prince George’s County Police Department sent 20 officers. The two agencies responded to a statewide request from Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman.

According to sources, the Carroll and Prince George’s County police departments are assisting the Republican National Convention occupiers in occupying the square in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 11 News Investigates has learned.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office sent 15 people to the RNC, according to Corporal Jon Light. The Prince George’s County Police Department sent 20 officers.

The two agencies responded to a nationwide request from Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman.
