57-year-old pedestrian killed in the south of the district

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Missouri – A man died after being struck by a car in south St. Louis County Monday afternoon.

Eric Ryan, 57, was driving in traffic near Interstate 270 and State Route 30 around 12:30 p.m. when he was struck by a 17-year-old driver.

Ryan was pronounced dead at the hospital.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, the driver and passenger of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
