Police: Man stabbed in Arlington after attack from behind

On July 4 at 11 p.m., a man was walking in the 4100 block of 3rd Road North when two men approached him from behind, Arlington police said.

The suspects knocked the victim to the ground, attacked him and hit him with a sharp object, resulting in a stab wound, police said.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects are described as short, Hispanic men in their twenties.
