Marine from Mason killed in motorcycle accident

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A U.S. Marine from Warren County will be laid to rest following a fatal crash on Father’s Day.

On Sunday, June 16, Lance Corporal Noah Lippeatt, 21, of Mason, died in a motorcycle accident, according to Mason City Schools. Lippeatt was reportedly in Washington, D.C., on his way to visit family members.


While attending William Mason High School in Mason, he was a wrestler on the varsity team, according to his obituary. From 2021 to 2022, he practiced wrestling at Campbellsville University until he decided to enlist in the U.S. Marine Corps.

The obituary states that a memorial service for the U.S. Marine will be held on July 6 at 4 p.m. at 7904 Princeton Road, followed by a celebration of life at 5 p.m. Lippeatt’s family asks those in attendance to wear “respectful, colorful clothing.”
