SWAT enters East Central Spokane home as part of kidnapping investigation

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane SWAT team entered a home Wednesday afternoon as part of an ongoing investigation into a kidnapping and robbery.

According to the Spokane Police Department (SPD), officers began securing the home around 6:30 p.m. After the SWAT team confirmed the home was safe, detectives entered the home to begin an investigation.

According to the SPD, the investigation concerns a case of robbery and kidnapping. The suspects involved in the first crime were armed with firearms.

The special operations team entered the house without incident and investigators continued to comb the crime scene on Wednesday evening.
