Man dies in rafting accident on Green River in Dinosaur National Monument

A 50-year-old Utah man was killed in a rafting accident on the Green River in Dinosaur National Monument in Colorado, National Park Service officials said Friday.

Federal officials learned around 4 p.m. Thursday that a raft was stuck on a rock in Hell’s Half Mile rapids and that a person was missing and believed to be trapped under the raft, a news release said.
