Crestview man dies after motorcycle crash near Niceville

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – A 47-year-old Crestview man died after a motorcycle accident early Friday morning.

According to authorities, the accident occurred around 1:45 a.m. Friday morning at the intersection of State Routes 85 and 123 north of Niceville.

Florida Highway Patrol officials said the man was traveling northbound when he lost control of his motorcycle, then drove into the median and struck a sign.

The man succumbed to his injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
