Fatal accident in Sanford leads to closure of Rinehart Road

SANFORD, Florida. – One person was killed in an accident Friday morning that led to the closure of Rinehart Road in Sanford.

Florida Highway Patrol officers responded to the area of ​​Rinehart Road and Plantation Lakes Circle around 7:49 a.m. to report a fatality and a road closure.

According to the Seminole County Fire Department, Rinehart Road was closed from County Road 46A to Towne Center Boulevard and will remain closed for an undisclosed duration.
