Your first warning of the next heat and humidity wave

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Mid-South recovered from extreme heat and humidity today, but hot and humid weather will soon return for the weekend and continue through the weekend and into next week.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with a northeast wind 5 to 10 mph and overnight lows in the 70s.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy with a south wind 5 to 10 mph and an afternoon high in the 90s.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear with a south wind 5 to 10 mph and overnight lows in the 70s.

THE WEEKEND: Saturday will be partly cloudy, hot and humid with a slight chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms, highs of 35 degrees and nighttime lows of 27 degrees. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, highs of 32 degrees and nighttime lows of 24 degrees.

NEXT WEEK: Monday will be mostly sunny, with highs of around 32 degrees in the afternoon and lows of around 25 degrees at night. Tuesday will be partly cloudy, with highs of between 35 and 35 degrees and lows of around 25 degrees at night. Wednesday will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms, and highs of between 35 and 35 degrees and lows of around 27 degrees at night. On July 4th, it will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms, and highs of around 35 degrees.
