Israeli shot dead in Kalkilya, car burned down

An Israeli citizen who was driving his car into Kalkilya on Saturday morning was shot dead by local residents, according to Palestinian reports cited by Israeli media.

Photos from the scene show his car set on fire and his driver’s license confiscated. Local Palestinians told Israeli media that the car was set on fire long after the shooting.

The body has already been handed over to the Israeli authorities.

IDF troops are currently on site.
