Jeremy Renner died after a horrific snow plowing accident in which he suffered 30 broken bones

Jeremy Renner was declared technically dead last year after a horrific snow plow accident, his co-star revealed.

On January 1, the Marvel actor was in critical condition after breaking “more than 30 bones” while attempting to rescue a family member from the path of the six-ton machine near his home in Lake Tahoe, near the Nevada-California border.

Doctors had to insert metal plates into his torso to stabilize his ribcage and collapsed eye socket. They also inserted a titanium rod into the Marvel star’s left tibia to hold it together after the fracture.

At the time, it was also announced that the 53-year-old had “suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.” But now it has emerged that his heart had actually stopped beating.

According to his co-star from “Mayor of Kingstown,” Michael Beach, the actor “actually died.”

Beach told The Direct: “Jeremy (Renner) is a warhorse, man. He came back. And he says he wasn’t sure what it was going to be like. But he was ready. And he says every week he feels stronger and stronger.”

He explained that Renner’s recovery had gone so well that “there had been no interruption due to his physical condition.”

Beach added: “He’s in. He’s great. Yeah, he’s a great guy, man. And he’s really tough.”

The actor then explained that the staff of “Mayor of Kingstown” was given “a unique perspective on the story of how Jeremy Renner was run over by a snow plow” because both Renner and his nephew, whom he helped in the accident, are involved in the series.

“They’re not afraid to tell you what was going on, how they felt and all that stuff,” Beach concluded.

In January, Renner celebrated his first day back on set, twelve months after his accident, and spoke about his nervousness before production began on the third season of “Mayor of Kingstown.”

Renner, best known for his role as Clint “Hawkeye” Barton in the Marvel film series, had previously reflected on his experiences on the one-year anniversary of his horrific ordeal.

He told CNN: “I’m just so blessed that there are so many things to live for. I have a huge family and a ten-year-old daughter.

“I would have disappointed a lot of people and really ruined their lives if I had died. I’m also pretty stubborn, there’s a lot to fight for and recovery was just a one-way street in my mind and recovery.”
