Four more people arrested after abuse incident in Greensburg Salem

Four more people were arrested in connection with an incident last fall at a Greensburg Salem elementary school.

In a press release Monday, Superintendent Kenneth Bissell stated that “three contract employees of the ESS Replacement Service and one employee of Family Behavioral Resources were arrested.”

Bissell said the incident was reported to administration in late October last year.

“At this time, any employee or contract staff member has been permanently removed from the Greensburg Salem classroom,” Bissell added.

These new charges stem from an incident involving an elementary school teacher and a paraprofessional at Nicley Elementary School, both of whom were accused of mistreating three special needs students last fall.
