Motorcyclist arrested in New Hampshire for speeding 225 km/h

A motorcyclist was arrested in New Hampshire on Sunday after driving at more than 140 mph, state police said.

At about 8:30 a.m., an officer in the air over I-93 in Bow observed a motorcycle speeding down the road at speeds between 124 and 141 miles per hour, passing other vehicles. An officer on the ground then stopped 21-year-old Aaron LaFlower of Belmont.

LaFlower was arrested and charged with reckless conduct. He was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Concord District Court on July 26.

The stop was part of a planned traffic monitoring measure.

Thirty vehicles were stopped, 28 of which were traveling faster than 90 miles per hour.

This is a developing story. Check back later for updates as more information becomes available.
