Souls to the Polls calls for an investigation into the alleged disruption of the Freeride program during the 2020 election

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) – Members of the Souls to the Polls program gathered for a press conference on Wednesday, May 8, calling on the Justice Department to open an investigation into the Freeride program’s alleged interference during the 2020 election.

They accuse leaders of the Wisconsin Republican Party of deliberately denying black voters the opportunity to use the transportation program to get to the polls.

Reverend Greg Marcus emphasized the nonpartisan nature of their organization and insisted that an investigation be conducted.

“We demand accountability, transparency and assurance that such ploys will never happen again,” said Rev. Lewis, executive director of Souls to the Polls.

Wisconsin Republican Party Executive Director Andrew Iverson has been accused of involvement in the 2020 scheme, and members of Souls to the Polls have called for his immediate removal.
