Police identify man and teen killed in shooting in east Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Kansas City police have identified a man and a teenager who were killed in a shooting at night on the east side last week.

The shooting occurred at a home near 32nd and Bellefontaine around 1 a.m. on June 6. When police arrived at the home where the shooting occurred, they found a man and a juvenile boy at the scene, both with gunshot wounds.


They were both pronounced dead at the scene and identified by KCPD on Friday as 33-year-old Ralph Miller and 15-year-old David Racey.

According to KCPD, there were also two other gunshot victims: a woman and a boy. They were both taken to a nearby hospital and are expected to recover soon.
