Two people identified in connection with fatal domestic violence incident in Marathon County

TOWN OF EASTON, WI (OnFocus) – The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two people killed in an act of domestic violence at a home in the Town of Easton on May 28, 2024. They are 63-year-old Patrick J. Eppolite and 53-year-old Valerie J. McCarthy. Both resided at the home on Junction Road. Authorities have completed investigations and autopsies.

The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office extends its condolences to the families who have lost loved ones. If you or someone you know is going through a mental health crisis or is involved in a domestic violence relationship, help is available.
