4 Patwaris suspended for negligence in Parliament building in Mandsaur

Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): With the conclusion of the Lok Sabha elections and the end of the code of conduct, administrative activities are picking up pace. On Friday evening, Collector Dilip Kumar Yadav suspended four Patwaris with immediate effect for their lack of interest in implementing the Svamitva scheme.

As per the orders of the Collector, Patwari Jitendra Singh Chauhan of village Rajakhedi/Azizkhedi, Patwari Shankar Dipankar of village Guradia Deda, Patwari Deepak Vyas of village Sabakheda and Patwari Parikshit Chauhan of village Multanpura were suspended. The progress of Svamitva programme by these Patwaris was found to be unsatisfactory.

They have failed to carry out essential foundation laying work and have disobeyed instructions from superiors by not responding to information letters from the officer in charge. Due to these actions, the suspension takes effect immediately. During the suspension, their headquarters will be the office of the Land Registry in Mandsaur.

They are now eligible for maintenance allowance as per existing rules. This strict measure underlines the government’s commitment to ensure successful implementation of government schemes and maintain accountability of officials. The Svamitva scheme, which aims to ensure property rights in rural areas, is an important initiative that needs to be carefully implemented by all stakeholders.

Madhya Pradesh: Bar Association members upset against Nagda SDM

Mahidpur (Madhya Pradesh): The Mahidpur Bar Association has taken a strong stand against the alleged misbehaviour of Nagda SDM Satyanarayan Soni towards Pallav Mukhiya, one of its members. The members of the association entered the SDM’s office on Friday and read out a letter of condemnation. Anger flared up in the Bar Association following Mukhiya’s alleged manhandling during a hearing, prompting the association to move a no-confidence motion against SDM Soni.

In a coordinated action led by association president Vinod Jain, members of the Mahidpur Bar Association gathered at the SDM office in Nagda to express their condemnation. They jointly moved the no-confidence motion as part of their protest against the perceived injustice. The demonstration received support from Nagda Bar Association president Vijay Verma and other lawyers, underlining a unified stance.

Deepak Lashkari, the association’s secretary, confirmed the successful conduct of the protest. This joint action underlines the deep-seated discontent of the Mahidpur legal community over the alleged misconduct. The Bar Association’s concerted action is a powerful reminder of the importance of maintaining professionalism and respectful conduct in court proceedings. It also signals the commitment to protect the dignity and rights of legal practitioners in the pursuit of justice.
