Shooting on Colonial Life Boulevard in Columbia under investigation

COLUMBIA, SC — Columbia police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.

The department said the shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Colonial Life Boulevard. Authorities have not released details about the cause of the shooting, the severity of the injuries or a possible suspect.
