Police report two dead and at least seven injured in shooting at Pittsburgh bar – WPXI

PENN HILLS, Pennsylvania — Several people were injured and two were killed in a shooting early Sunday morning in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania.

Allegheny County police said they received a report of a shooting in Penn Hills shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday.

When emergency responders arrived at the scene of the shooting at Ballers Hookah Lounge and Cigar Bar, they found a man and a woman pronounced dead, WPXI reported.

Police said seven other people were injured. Several people were taken to hospital, while others were taken to hospital by other means of transport. One of the seven is in critical condition. The remaining people are not believed to have life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said an altercation occurred inside the bar before the shooting. According to WPXI, several people opened fire.

No information has been released on whether any suspects are in custody, the Associated Press reported.
