Dubois Co.: Ongoing drug investigation uncovers 41 grams of methamphetamine

The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office said an ongoing drug investigation on Wednesday resulted in a search warrant and the arrest of a Jasper man on multiple drug charges.

Drug agents found 41 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, Schedule IV controlled substances, a hypodermic syringe and several items of paraphernalia.

Lucas Hildenbrand, 43, is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, trafficking in a Schedule IV controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana, unlawful possession of a syringe, maintaining a public nuisance, unlawful possession or use of a notorious drug, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

Hildenbrand appeared in Dubois Superior Court Wednesday afternoon and is currently being held on $50,000 bail.
