On Tuesday, a Boston Police patrol car drove into a building that houses a hair salon and apartments.

The accident occurred on Chelsea Street in East Boston.

Boston police said the officer driving suffered minor injuries but did not provide further details about the incident.

The footage showed the patrol car wedged between a parked SUV and the building.

The stairs and door that residents use to access their apartments above the Tribe Studio hair salon were damaged.

The building’s owner told NBC10 Boston she was concerned about the damage and who would pay for repairs, but she did not want to appear on camera.
