Silver Alert issued for missing Knox County man last seen on Memorial Day

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing 77-year-old man who was last seen on Memorial Day.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for Ferman Extine Sr. He may be traveling in Sevierville in a maroon 2015 Kia Sorento with TN license plate BFJ9710.

Ferman is described as 6’0″ tall, 190 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a medical condition that could prevent him from returning safely without assistance.
