Man arrested for meth possession and community code violation

At around 12:01 a.m. Monday, Turlock Police Officer Nunez stopped a bicyclist at Planet Fitness in the 1300 block of W. Main Street.

Nunez made contact with the cyclist and identified him as Richard Locke, 57, of Turlock.

When Nunez searched his dispatcher Locke, he discovered that there was a $3,555 warrant out for his arrest for keeping personal property in a public place.

Locke was arrested and a search of his person in connection with the arrest uncovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Locke was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, and on his warrant.
