Russian attack on Vinnytsia leaves three injured

Russian forces attacked the city of Vinnytsia in the early hours of May 25, hitting a residential building and injuring three people, Governor Serhii Borzov reported.

The attack hit a residential building in the city, Borzov said at 4:23 a.m. local time.

Three people were injured and residents were being evacuated. Rescue workers were on site, he said.

Due to a threat from Russian missiles, drones and Tu-95MS bombers, the Air Force imposed an air warning throughout the country, including the westernmost oblasts, on the night of May 26.

Explosions were also reported from the Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr and Kyiv oblasts.

According to a social media post by President Volodymyr Zelensky, there may have been more than 200 people in the hypermarket at the time of the attack.
