Woman killed in car crash with pedestrian | Local news

They attempted life-saving measures until paramedics arrived, but the woman ultimately died, police said.

The vehicle involved in the accident was a red Chevrolet pickup truck that was apparently driving in the inside lane and struck the pedestrian as she attempted to cross Veterans Memorial Boulevard northbound.

No other injuries were reported.

The woman’s name was not immediately released.

The KPD traffic police are investigating the accident.
