Flight attendants rally in Atlanta for better pay, benefits from Delta Airlines – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — Dozens of flight attendants rallied in downtown Atlanta Monday to demand better pay and benefits, especially from Atlanta-based Delta Airlines.

Delta is the only U.S.-based major carrier where flight attendants are not unionized.

“Delta has made more money than any other airline in history, but they’re spending that money to keep flight attendants from organizing,” Sara Nelson said.

Delta Airlines said in a statement to Channel 2 Action News: “We believe our direct relationship with employees has proven stronger, faster and more effective in driving improvements, which is why Delta employees rejected on several occasions the union representation of the AFA and other groups. over the last 20 years.
