Body found near Shaw High School in East Cleveland: police

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – East Cleveland Police are investigating the discovery of a body near Shaw High School on Sunday morning, according to investigators.

Acting ECPD Chief Kenneth Lundy said officers discovered the body in a vacant funeral home at 15357 Euclid Avenue.

Lundy says the body is badly decomposed.

The person has not been identified.

Lundy confirmed that the Cuyahoga County Coroner’s Office is on scene.
