Gadsden police are investigating after a body was found inside a home

GADSDEN, Ala. (WBRC) – A suspicious death investigation is underway after a man was found dead inside a home, according to the Gadsden Police Department.

Investigator Dusty Ford said authorities received a call Thursday afternoon in the 2300 block of Forrest Avenue where they found Daniel Joseph Garmon Sr. dead in a home. Sergeant. Ford couldn’t go into details but says Garmon’s death is suspicious. Ford also says officials currently have some leads.

“We are looking for two interesting people. We are not 100% sure who these people are, but we are currently trying to identify these people. Then we can reach out to you and hopefully reach out to the community to get more help and see how this works.”

Sergeant. Ford said Garmon Sr.’s cause of death is currently under investigation.
