‘Coronation Street’ fans are ‘ruling out’ a character from the Nathan attack mystery

Spoilers for Coronation Street follow.

Coronation Street fans believe they can safely rule out a character in the plot regarding the identity of Nathan Curtis’ attacker.

Previous scenes in the soap have seen Bethany Platt’s former abuser Nathan return to Weatherfield. Given that Nathan attacked and attempted to abuse Bethany in 2017, the character is among the suspects in Lauren Bolton’s murder, with Bethany convinced he must be behind her disappearance.

Recently, the villain was attacked at the construction site where he works, but the attacker was never shown on camera. Although David Platt appeared to be the perpetrator as he had blood on his jeans, some eagle-eyed Corrie fans appear to be convinced that he was not behind the attack.

The proof is apparently in the shoes. As the attacker was dressed all in black and wore black shoes, many Corrie viewers pointed out that David normally wears brown boots and therefore could not be responsible for Nathan’s injuries.

“Nathan’s attacker was wearing black shoes. “David had brown boots on,” one person pointed out Twitter/Xwhile others agree with the theory.

This keeps the attack secret, meaning both Daniel Osbourne and Gary Windass are considered potential suspects.

In previous episodes, David assured Bethany and Sarah Barlow that he had not attacked Nathan, but was forced to admit he witnessed the attack when Shona showed the tracking app on his phone, proving he was at the construction site. when the villain was attacked.

David’s explanation leaves Bethany convinced Daniel is guilty, but will she be able to prove it?
