NSCDC arrests Ekiti man for raping a minor

Men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in Ekiti State have arrested a man, Afolabi Ojo, for the alleged rape of a four-year-old girl.

The suspect was arrested after the girl’s mother reported that the suspect, popularly called Afo, removed the girl’s pants and sexually assaulted her late last month.

The mother told reporters that her daughter informed her about the incident, but the suspect denied it and claimed he was involved.

The spokesperson of the NSCDC in the state, Tolu Afolabi, said a medical report confirmed that the minor’s hymen was broken.
