14-year-old girl killed in Buffalo shooting identified as Jazzmine Fomby

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Crime Stoppers Western New York is now offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot and killed a 14-year-old girl in Buffalo.

Jazzmine Fomby was one of six teenagers shot and killed Saturday on Jefferson Avenue. Fomby died from her injuries.

“Surrender”: strong message sent after 6 teenagers shot in Buffalo, 14-year-old girl killed

Crime Stoppers is now asking anyone with information to come forward. A $7,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person responsible.

7 News spoke with Fomby’s family on Sunday. They shared the following message about how she will be remembered:

“He was an outgoing, funny and frank person. Her smile would light up an entire room! If she was sad, it showed. If she was happy, it showed. If she was excited, it showed. One of the best little league football players I’ve seen. She dusted all the boys during team races. She was loved, she was adored, she was the best!
