Woman accused of throwing her toddler to the ground during a domestic incident

Jamestown police charged a woman with endangering the welfare of a child following a domestic incident involving a toddler in the area of ​​West 5th Street and Clinton Street in the city. Officers responded to the scene around 10 a.m. Wednesday and learned from a witness that 20-year-old Anikka Coulter was allegedly seen throwing a small child to the ground while talking to a man near Baker Park argued. The man, later identified as the father, was able to care for the child and leave the area. According to officials, the child was not injured. Coulter was taken into custody a short time later and taken to the Jamestown City Jail, where he was held pending arraignment.
