LMPD: 1 dead, 3 hospitalized after shooting at Louisville Club in Southland Park neighborhood

Police responded to a call about a shooting at a club called The Hot Spot.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – One man is dead and three others are left hospitalized after a shooting early Saturday morning.

Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) responded around 5 a.m. to a call about a shooting at a club called The Hot Spot, 282 Evangeline Ave., in the Southland Park neighborhood.

When officers arrived, they said they found a man who had been shot and another man and a woman who had been shot but were still alive. The man and woman were taken to UofL Hospital. Shortly afterward, another man arrived at the hospital and said he had been shot at the same club, according to LMPD.

At this time, authorities said one man was in critical condition, the other man was in stable condition and the woman was in serious condition.

The LMPD Homicide Unit is leading this investigation. There are currently no known suspects and police are asking the public for help.
