2 people arrested after robberies at Burrito King and Burger King in Madera, police say | YourCentralValley.com

MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two people were arrested after two robberies at two restaurants in Madera.

In a social media post Friday, Madera police wrote that the night shift was busy “from dusk to dawn.” The robberies happened overnight at Burrito King and a Burger King in Madera.

According to police, 32-year-old John Vasquez and 34-year-old Robert Strauss were caught by officers as they attempted to flee a break-in at Burrito King.

At the same time, officials said a third man was arrested in connection with an unrelated burglary at a tractor supply company and an attempted burglary at an Auto Zone. A 39-year-old, identified by police as Joshua Bishop, was arrested in connection with these incidents.
