The investigation is ongoing at the home on Mapledell Street in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Police are conducting an investigation at a home in the Springfield Bay neighborhood Friday morning.

Our 22News team was able to see state police and Springfield police at a home on Mapledell Street, off State Street. Some of the investigators wore Tyvek suits and masks as items were removed from the home. A pop-up canopy was also installed in the driveway of the home at 55 Mapledell Street.

No information about the investigation was immediately available from Springfield police. 22News has also contacted Massachusetts State Police for more information.
