Woman killed in hit-and-run in Downers Grove – NBC Chicago

Suburban police are investigating after a woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Downers Grove late Thursday.

According to Downers Grove police, the hit-and-run occurred Thursday at 10:02 p.m. in the 600 block of Ogden Avenue. The victim in the incident was a 65-year-old woman, police added.

Officers were searching for a vehicle in connection with the incident, police said. According to police, the vehicle is a dark-colored SUV with damage to the front bumper.

Police added that the vehicle may have been a Honda CRV.
