2th of June
Officers responded to a report of property damage in the 100 block of Garmatter Street.

3rd of June
Officers arrested a Lima resident for driving without a valid license following a traffic stop in the area of ​​Snider Road near Main Street for speeding. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

Officers responded to a complaint about a business in the 100 block of South Main Street issuing bad checks.

June 4
Officers responded to a theft report in the 100 block of North Jackson Street.

Officers responded to the theft of a motor vehicle and trailer from storage units on East College Avenue.

6th of June
Officers received a report of a theft from a resident of rural Bluffton.

17th of June
Officers received a theft report from a rural Bluffton resident.

18th of June
Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at a store in the 100 block of Vance Street.

June 21st
Officers responded to the area of ​​College Avenue near Mound Street to investigate an accident that occurred on College Avenue near Main Street. The suspect fled the scene after the accident and the other vehicle followed the suspect until officers arrived. Officers spoke with both parties and ultimately concluded that the at-fault driver was impaired. The Bluffton resident was subsequently arrested on suspicion of DUI and the case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

Officers took a report of criminal damage from a resident in the 200 block of South Mound Street.

June 22
Officers assisted the Allen County Sheriff’s Office in the 10200 block of Columbus Grove Bluffton Road on a report of property damage. The homeowner claimed the mailbox was vandalized sometime during the night. It was later determined that the mailbox was damaged by a rural Bluffton resident who had been intoxicated the night before. The investigation is being conducted by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

24 June
Officers received a theft report from a construction site manager in the 200 block of Cherry Street. The reporter stated that a dump trailer had been stolen from the site sometime during the night.

26 June
Officers arrested a Bluffton resident who was driving without a valid license after he was stopped for a registration violation in the area of ​​County Line Road near Jefferson Street. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.

Officers arrested a Lima resident for driving without a valid license following a traffic stop in the area of ​​Snider Road near North Main Street for speeding. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

June 28th
Officers responded to the area of ​​Jackson Street near Vine Street for a report of a mentally ill individual. The individual was transported by a Bluffton officer to St. Rita’s Medical Center for a mental health evaluation.
