Pensacola woman arrested after child found two blocks away: arrest report

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) – A Pensacola woman was arrested Wednesday after the child she was caring for was found two blocks away, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

32-year-old Chelsey Michelle Johnson was arrested and charged with child neglect.

According to Johnson’s arrest report, a woman found a child walking on the street two blocks from where Johnson was supposed to be watching the child.

The arrest report states that a similar incident had occurred before. Johnson was not granted bail.
