The body of one person was recovered at around 2:30 p.m. Thursday while emergency crews continued to search for the other two people. Their identities were not immediately released by police.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has imposed a temporary flight ban for the search area for the duration of the operation, police said.

In addition to several local authorities, the coast guard was also involved in the search.

The National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA will investigate the cause of the crash.
