On Tuesday, police charged a man who left a dog in a hot car in Cary.

According to a Cary Police arrest warrant, 55-year-old Paul Fisher III intentionally put a dog in a hot car and left it there.

Authorities charged Fisher with animal cruelty and possession of a stolen license plate
