Sibley man arrested for assaulting his wife | News

SIBLEY – A 29-year-old Sibley man was arrested early Sunday morning, July 7, on first-time domestic violence charges.

Brandon Thomas Manitz was arrested after his wife reported he had attacked her around 2:20 a.m., according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman told officers that Manitz knocked her down on the porch of her home at 403 Walnut Drive and pulled her shirt.

According to the incident report, Manitz said he attacked his wife and pulled on her shirt to take his cell phone.

The house’s doorbell camera recorded the incident.

A ban on contact was imposed between Manitz and his wife.
