The Statesville Police Department is pleased to announce that Officer Chris McBride has been appointed Lobby Officer. He will also attend training sessions, make arrests, prepare reports, and operate a police vehicle under a variety of conditions.

Officer McBride will speak to the public, provide information, mediate disputes, and participate in public relations activities to promote cooperative relationships. He will assist the public with questions and report writing, guide visitors, and perform lobbying duties such as logging subpoenas and receiving packages.

With his training, experience and dedication to the Statesville community, Officer McBride is an invaluable asset to our department. We look forward to his contributions in ensuring the safety and well-being of our citizens.
