Man hospitalized after “incident” in Lewisham

A man was taken to hospital following an incident on a busy road in Lewisham.

Emergency services were called to Loampit Vale in Lewisham at around 3pm yesterday (6 July).

An ambulance was sent to the scene of the accident.

One person, a man, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

We have contacted the Metropolitan Police for further information.

A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to an incident in Loampit Vale, Lewisham at 3.06pm on Saturday 6 July.

“We sent emergency services to the scene of the accident, including an ambulance team.

“We treated one man on site before taking him to hospital.”
