Girl rushed to hospital after being hit by vehicle in South Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A girl was rushed to Oishei Children’s Hospital after being struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon in South Buffalo.

The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. Friday at the corner of Seneca and Edson streets, just east of Cazenovia Park. The girl, who a Buffalo city spokesperson said is 11 years old, was rushed to the hospital by ambulance.

The injuries are serious, but she is expected to recover, the spokesman said.
