Man arrested after shooting in Lincoln parking lot | KLIN

Lincoln police have arrested a man accused of shooting a teenager in his car on Sunday at the corner of 51st and Vine. Captain Todd Kocian says 21-year-old Alharith Kambol of Lincoln was taken into custody after a traffic stop at the corner of 33rd and ‘O’.

“The LPD SWAT team obtained a search warrant for Kambol’s residence, where several firearms were found.” Kambol was arrested on charges of assault, terroristic threats and possession of a firearm. The 19-year-old victim says he and some friends were sitting in a car in a parking lot when two men approached them and pulled out guns.

He was shot as he tried to drive away from them and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The search for the second suspect continues.
