Rumor Roundup: Vince McMahon Investigation, Ricochet Plans, TNA Morale, More!

Rumors of the day:

• During a Q&A session on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp said that “the people at WWE” are not worried about how the company will fare in the federal investigation surrounding the Janel Grant lawsuit, but “they expect things to be found out about Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis.”
• Sapp also said the talent felt “let go” of losing McMahon and Laurinaitis, unlike when Vince resigned during the board’s investigation into his hush money scandal in 2022.
• Although Ricochet is expected to head to AEW after his WWE contract expires, Fightful reports that his fiancée Samantha Irvin is expected to remain with WWE.

• PW Insider has heard that the mood in the TNA locker room was “very good” during last weekend’s tapings. Saturday’s show was sold out, which the company attributes to the Hardys and the WWE NXT crossover.

• TNA’s history with NXT is expected to continue at SlammiversaryPW Insider asked a WWE source about the possibility of Wes Lee reuniting with The Rascalz and received the response that “nothing is out of the question.”
• According to another report from PW Insider, WWE expects to have NBA stars Tyrese Halliburton and Jalen Brunson back on the shows “when it’s a good fit for both of them.”

• Donovan Dijak and Matt Camp were both backstage at Forbidden Door on Sunday, according to PW Insider.
