Rape: 68-year-old man arrested for raping 6-year-old relative in Himachal | News from Dehradun

Uttarkashi: A 68-year-old man was arrested on Friday for raping his six-year-old daughter, a distant relative, in a village in Mori area of ​​Uttarkashi district, police said on Saturday. Ashok Kumar, in-charge of Mori police station, said, “On June 27, the accused raped the minor girl when her parents were not at home. When they returned, they found their daughter in a terrible condition and immediately took her to a hospital in Rohudu, Himachal Pradesh.” Officials said doctors confirmed that she was raped on June 27. Based on the complaint of the girl’s father, Arakot police have filed a case against the accused. “The accused was arrested on Friday under relevant sections of the Pocso Act and Section 376 of the IPC. He was sent to jail after being produced before the court,” Kumar said.
