Charlotte FC loses winning streak against Houston Dynamo

HOUSTON, TX (AP) — Charlotte FC lost to the Houston Dynamo, the team’s first loss after a short winning streak.

Patrick Agyemang led Charlotte FC into the match after scoring two goals against the Philadelphia Union.

Houston’s Ibrahim Aliyu made a strong start to the game, scoring the first and only point of the match in the first half off an assist from Sebastián Ferreira.

Dynamo (8-6-6) ranks 5th in the Western Conference.

Charlotte (9-5-6) ranks 6th in the Eastern Conference

The next match against Inter Miami CF will take place at home at Bank of America Stadium on July 3 from 7:30 p.m.
